WEEK 7: CHIEFS CRUISE, PATRIOTS SURVIVE, AND THE JAYS BREAK THE CURSE
10-23-2025
The week’s two most popular picks, the Chiefs (1,279 entries, 28.9%) and Patriots (1,249 entries, 28.3%), both got the job done, keeping over half the pool alive. On the flip side, the Steelers (181 entries, 4.1%), Chargers (11 entries, 0.2%), and Jets (4 entries, 0.1%) sent some unlucky players packing.
We’re now down to 4,214 entries remaining, with an implied value of $4,442 per entry. It’s officially the part of the season where every pick feels like a playoff decision, so buckle up, Week 8 is going to be big.
Chiefs Shut Down the Raiders 31–0
The Kansas City Chiefs didn’t just win, they dominated. Mahomes and company blew the Raiders off the field, rolling to a 31–0 shutout that was over before halftime. The offence was surgical, the defence was suffocating, and the Raiders looked completely lost.
If you took the Chiefs, you probably kicked your feet up by the second quarter. Total clinic.
CIRCA MILLIONS: PPW AND THEMIND97 HOLD STRONG IN TOP 3
In Circa Millions, WCP clients continue to make waves at the top. After holding the #1 spot last week, PPW dropped slightly into a tie for 3rd place with a 26–9 record, still firmly in striking distance of the grand prize. It’s never fun seeing a small dip after leading the entire field, but being top 3 through seven weeks is elite territory.
Sharing that same 3rd-place tie is another WCP client, THEMIND97, also sitting at 26–9. Two WCP clients in the top three of Circa Millions? That’s domination.
Q2 LEADERS: 1EYEDKING & BILLTOWN BOYS AMONG THE BEST
The Quarter 2 standings (Weeks 5–9) are heating up, and once again, WCP clients are right in the mix. Both 1EYEDKING and BILLTOWN BOYS are tied for 3rd at 13–2, sitting alongside a stacked group of 15 entries. With two weeks left in the quarter, every pick counts, one more perfect weekend could lock in serious cash potential.
BONUS BLURB: THE JAYS ARE GOING TO THE WORLD SERIES
For the first time since 1993, the Toronto Blue Jays are headed back to the World Series after defeating Seattle in Game 7 of the ALCS.
I was lucky enough to be at Game 6, and the atmosphere was electric, fans were absolutely losing it. Pure chaos, pure joy. But Game 7? I was home, pacing and biting my nails like a maniac. When the Jays fell behind heading into the top of the 7th, I thought it was over. And then George Springer happened.
That homer felt straight out of a movie, a Moneyball moment that flipped the entire game on its head. I’ll admit it: I cried.
The drought is over. Toronto baseball is officially back.
4,214 entries left in Survivor. Two WCP clients in the top three of Circa Millions. Jays in the World Series. October’s giving us everything we’ve ever wanted.
