Week 2 Pick 5 Sweat: Who’s Still Alive?

Two weeks into Circa Millions VII and the Westgate SuperContest, the standings are already looking like a rollercoaster. Some entries are cruising at the top, others have already faceplanted, and most are somewhere in that messy middle.
This is where things get interesting. If you’re in this group, you’re still well within striking distance of a quarterly prize. Remember, Circa Millions resets every 4 weeks for the $150,000 bonus. So if you can stack another strong week, you’re right in the mix.
At that point, it’s not about this quarter, it’s about getting ready for the next one. Remember, each quarter is its own prize pool and I’ll be honest, I’m sitting at 3-7 myself, and already chalking up these next couple weeks as a warm-up and waiting for the fresh start when the next quarterly prize kicks in. The silver lining? Don’t forget that Circa also pays out “Bobby prizes” for the very bottom of the standings, so even the worst of the worst might have something to look forward to.
Westgate SuperContest
The Leaders
24 entries are sitting pretty at 9-1 (9 points). That’s about as good of a start as you can ask for. A couple bad beats away from perfect, but these entries are clearly live for the big money and those early quarter bonuses.
The Chase Pack
- 109 entries at 8-2 (8 points)
- 357 entries at 7-3 (7 points)
- 855 entries at 6-4 (6 points)
The Sweaty Middle
The biggest chunk of the field is stuck at 5-5 (1,290 entries) and 4-6 (1,385 entries). Not dead, but definitely needing a heater. If you’re sitting here, Week 3 is huge, one more losing record and you’re basically praying for that Week 5 reset.
The Strugglers
On the other end:
- 1,035 entries at 3-7 (3 points)
- 464 entries at 2-8 (2 points)
- 126 entries at 1-9 (1 point)
- And yes, 9 entries are 0-10. RIP.
