WEEK 10 RECAP: 1000 People Left in Survivor
11-12-2025
THE BIGGEST UPSET OF THE WEEK: CAROLINA.
This one hurt. When I was choosing my survivor pick, it came down to the Broncos or Carolina, and thank the football gods I didn’t go with the Panthers.
They were favoured going in, and for good reason. The week before, they looked sharp against the Packers, showing life on both sides of the ball. Plus, the Saints were rolling out their rookie quarterback, which made Carolina the seemingly “safe” play of the week. But football loves pain, and the script flipped fast.
Carolina’s offence completely stalled out, Bryce Young looked uncomfortable behind a collapsing pocket, averaging under six yards per throw and missing key reads. Their run game, which had been their strength all season, got smothered early, and that was all she wrote. The defence didn’t do them any favours either, giving up two massive touchdown plays that cracked the game wide open.
30% of the pool, gone. Just like that. Brutal.
Honourable mentions go out to the Bills, who took out another 15%, and the Browns and Bucs, who chipped away at the remaining few (a combined 1%, but hey, every drop counts when it’s blood in the water).
THEMIND97 HOLDS STRONG FOR WCP
In 3rd place for the full-season Circa Millions standings, we’ve got one of our very own: TheMind97. They have been bouncing between 2nd and 3rd place all season, talking about consistency under pressure. We’re crossing our fingers that Week 11 is the push that sends them straight to the top.
And how about HE IS THE ONE sitting tied for 4th in the overall standings? The WCP fam is thriving. We’re rooting for all our clients, let’s finish this strong and bring it home.
MY CHAOTIC Q3 STRATEGY: EMBRACING THE LOSE STREAK
Alright, confession time. I took a completely different approach in Circa Millions for Q3. Every quarter, I’ve been stuck in this middle ground, not winning enough to cash, not losing enough for the Bobby Prize. So I figured… screw it.
This quarter, I’m intentionally trying to lose every single pick. Week 10, which kicked off Q3, was the start of my experiment.
My picks:
Broncos -8.5
Buccaneers -2.5
Packers -2.5
Bills -9.5
Rams -4.5
I went 1-4, and honestly, I’m not mad about it. The Rams ruined my losing streak by beating the Steelers 25–10, but it’s fine. I’d like to finish Q3 with 2 points out of 20, so I can only afford to get one more pick right.
Turns out, picking losers is just as hard as picking winners. The spreads are brutal, that’s what keeps Circa Millions so addicting.
The Q3 standings dropped, and apparently, I’m not alone in my chaos. 553 people were tied with me at 1–4, and another 88 people managed a perfect 0–5, sitting pretty ahead of me. Looks like I need to up my bad-picking game.
At least my Denver vs Vegas pick worked out beautifully, I had Denver for Survivor, so I needed them to win… but not by more than 8.5. And they didn’t. Perfection.
FINAL COUNTDOWN
Heading into Week 10, there were 1,769 entries still alive in Circa Survivor. Now? We’re at 1,000. The pool’s shrinking fast, the stakes are climbing higher, and the heartbreaks are only getting bigger. Let’s see who’s still standing next week.
