Submit Picks Early, Then Adjust If Needed
One of the biggest mistakes people make? Waiting until the last hour to submit picks. Circa Survivor and Circa Million deadlines are strict. Once that cutoff hits, your entry is either locked... or dead.
- Survivor pick deadlines:
- Regular weeks: Saturday 4 PM PT
- Thanksgiving week: Wednesday 10 PM PT
- Christmas week: Thursday 9 AM PT
- Million pick deadline: Saturday 4 PM PT every week
Don’t Clone Entries, Diversify Your Strategy
If you’re running multiple Survivor entries and just copy-pasting picks across all of them... you're setting yourself up to get wiped out in one swing. Instead, play it smart:
- Split entries across different matchups
- Use some chalk, some contrarian picks
- Consider “burning” a mid-tier team on one entry to preserve elite teams for later
Group Entries into Tiers or Strategies
Once you're dealing with 5+ entries, organizing your picks into buckets helps big time. Try breaking them into mini strategies:
Group A: Fade the bottom 3 teams every week
Group B: Play home favorites only
Group C: Weekly contrarian plays based on contest consensus data
That way, if one angle gets nuked by a bad beat or injury, your other entries are still alive.
Plan Ahead for the Holiday Weeks
This is where even sharp players get tripped up. In Circa Survivor 2025, Thanksgiving/Black Friday and Christmas are their own separate weeks, making 20 total pick weeks. If you’re not accounting for that, you’re going to run out of viable teams — or worse, get forced into picking a disaster team just to stay alive.
Smart players:
- Flag potential picks NOW for Week 12 and Week 16
- Avoid blowing all your high-win-total teams early
- Leave room to pivot based on injury reports and performance trends
